Mr Tim Owen officially closed the Real Film Festival on Sunday 29th April and has been a great supporter of the Festival throughout the year.

Screen Hunter Central Coast opens the door to a world of filming possibilities
Welcome to Screen Hunter Central Coast (SHCC), the one-stop film office for the Hunter and Central Coast regions of New South Wales.
Managed by experienced film industry professionals, SHCC helps Australian and International filmmakers, advertising agencies, photographers and location scouts find the locations and facilities they require in one of the country’s most spectacular regions.
Filming in the area has never been easier now that SHCC issue film permits for all 13 councils in the Hunter and Central Coast, the 5 National Parks in the Hunter, as well as Worimi Local Aboriginal Land Council (Stockton Sand Dunes), Maitland Gaol and private locations.
SHCC’s extensive knowledge and local network enables them to offer assistance in the following areas:
* Location searches and surveys, both public and private.
* Sourcing of local crews, talent and facilities.
* Facilitation of accommodation, catering and transport.
* Liaising with Government departments.

Home to some of the best and most diverse cinematic locations this country has to offer, the Hunter and Central Coast territories are packed with possibilities.

Add the sweeping plains, horse studs and open cut mines further inland, the impressive collection of historic architecture and the notorious Maitland Gaol and you soon realise this combined region really has it all.

We have hosted many feature films such as ‘Wolverine', 'Superman Returns', 'Matrix Reloaded', 'Young Einstein', 'Newcastle' and 'Suburban Mayhem', plus hundreds of national and international TVC's, documentaries, music videos and short films.
