The Real Film Festival is a festival showcasing Australian and International films that are based on true stories and bringing industry professionals together to offer filmmaking workshops. It is designed to foster and develop the art of storytelling. Film categories will include student films, documentaries, environmental issues, indigenous films and low budget and feature films. The entrants must provide proof to validate their story to either enter the competitions or screen their film.
The festival includes:
A series of screenings of feature, short and documentary films and Q&A’s with directors, producers and actors
A series of industry based workshops such as script writing, editing, acting for screen, special effects makeup, etc... With local, state and national industry professionals
A short film competition
